Attendance

North Kansas City Schools believes that regular attendance at school is important. In fact, research has demonstrated a correlation between good attendance and the likelihood of good academic progress. However, it is recognized that there are occasions when it is necessary that a student be absent from school all or part of the day. Students must stay home when sick only if they have had vomiting, a fever or diarrhea in the past 24 hours. 

School Hours:  9:15 a.m. - 4:10 p.m.

• Students may enter the building at 8:50 a.m.
• Students may go to class at 9:00 a.m.

When your student will be absent, please call the attendance line at (816) 321-5172 to report the absence.
